Spacious Living in the Heart of the Action

The Residences Tribeca NorthYoung professionals, corporate couples and downsizers take note – BGC’s latest boutique apartment development in The Springs, Rivervale is completed and ready to be snapped up by Perth home hunters. The first few lucky residents have moved into The Residences -Tribeca North, the final piece in BGC Development’s impressive Tribeca series.

The lavish, yet affordable apartments are defined by their impressive size, luxe finishes, design functionality and an abundance of natural light. Whilst BGC could have housed more apartments at The Residences, BGC Development wanted to set itself apart from other developers constructing higher-density developments within the precinct.  “We only built 44 apartments because we wanted to design a place that people could call home,”  BGC Development Manager Adam Casotti said.  “The Springs is popular at the moment and there’s a lot of dwellings complete and coming onto the market, so we wanted to make our apartments stand out based on size and quality of finishes.” Gearing these boutique apartments towards the owner/occupier market, BGC’s plan to focus on spacious living spaces seems to have paid dividends. Mr Casotti said the residents who had already moved in were overwhelmed with the internal features and size of the floor plans.  “The level of finishes and the quality and size, far exceeded their expectations when they originally bought off plan at The Residences,”  he said.  “We are 85 per cent sold out and it’s all been positive feedback.”

Only seven apartments remain to purchase at The Residences, so potential buyers will have to act fast if they want a piece of one of Perth’s most exciting inner-city developments. From a previously unused 14-hectare site to a vibrant community hub, The Springs has flourished to become a highly sought-after location for hopeful apartment hunters.

Situated right alongside the famous Swan River and within walking distance to the world-class facilities at Crown Perth, there is a plethora of renowned restaurants, glamorous bars and headlining shows right on the development’s doorstep. It is also within walking distance of the Burswood train station, linked to the city by cycle paths and boasts easy road access to the Perth Airport and CBD.

With more and more locals choosing to live close
to the action, people are starting to take advantage of all the benefits that come with this lifestyle, according to Mr Casotti.  “You are never far from anything you need, whether it be your place of work, shopping, bars or dining options.”   he said.  “It’s the ultimate location for those who are wanting a low-maintenance, safe and secure lock-up-and-leave abode.”  Part of a broader strategy to focus on medium and high density projects. The Residences is another feather in the cap for BGC Development’s new approach.

The division, which now falls under BGC Housing Group, also recently developed The Westin Perth, Aloft Perth hotel, 25 Rowe office complex and a number of apartment developments.  “With the state government’s Metronet program presenting new opportunities for medium to high density development, we believe our strategic focus will work in perfectly with those transport projects,”  Mr Casotti said.  “ We foresee an increasing percentage of the preferred housing choice will come from the medium to high density sector.  We will be pushing hard in that space, and consolidating our business with BGC Housing Group will allow us to do that.”  With apartments starting from $385,000,  it’s likely the remaining few will not last long.
