Giving Back in 2023

At BGC Housing Group, we believe in building more than just homes; we strive to build stronger, more vibrant communities. As we reflect on the past year, we’re proud to have contributed to the well-being of our community in many ways. This commitment extends beyond our core business operations, reaching the hearts and lives of those we serve.

Here’s a recap of the meaningful community initiatives that our staff have been involved in this year:

Foodbank Volunteering

The team rolled up their sleeves to spend valuable time in the Foodbank kitchen and delivery center, preparing meals and assembling food packs for families facing challenging times.

Sponsorship of the West Perth Women’s AFL Team

Recognising the importance of sports in fostering community spirit, BGC Housing Group is the proud major sponsor of the West Perth Women’s Football Club contributing to the growth and success of women in sports. We continue this through our sponsorship until 2026.

2023 HBF Run for a Reason

Taking strides for a healthier community, our team laced up our running shoes and participated in the 2023 HBF Run for a Reason, supporting various charitable causes that touch the lives of many.

IGA Purple Bra Day, Pink Morning Tea & Pink Game for Wildcats

In support of breast cancer awareness, we participated in the IGA Purple Bra Day, organised a Pink Morning Tea, and partnered with the Wildcats for the Pink Game. These initiatives were not only about raising much-needed funds but also about educating the community about preventative measures and raising awareness

Tree Planting for Perth’s NRM Coastal and Marine Program

Looking beyond the urban landscape, our commitment to environmental sustainability shone through our participation in the tree planting initiative for Perth’s NRM Coastal and Marine Program. This project aims to protect Perth’s breathtaking dunes and reserves for generations to come.

Christmas Gift Giving for Parkerville Children and Youth Care and Indigo Junction

In collaboration with Parkerville Children and Youth Care and Indigo Junction, we orchestrated a Gift Giving Initiative. Every child received a carefully chosen item from their wish list, ensuring that the spirit of Christmas reached those in need.

Gift Wrapping for Breast Cancer Care WA

As the holiday season approached, we worked at the local shopping center to spread joy. The BGC Housing Group team volunteered for gift wrapping, with proceeds supporting Breast Cancer Care WA, and making Christmas a little brighter for all.

Thank you to our staff for their ongoing support and commitment to driving meaningful change.

Here’s to another year of making a positive impact together!
