The latest edition of the BGC Home Magazine – Issue 3: A Taste of Home, surrounds the celebration of foodand flavour and how this has become such a big part in our homes.

BGC Housing Group Executive General Manager, Michael Bartier says he believes that a diversity of flavours goes far beyond the dinner table, “In our changing world, being open to celebrating what makes us unique and finding common ground has never been more important. In WA, we’re lucky to live in communities shaped by different stories and experiences. Having the opportunity to play a part in this is something our team never takes for granted.”
The role of food within the home has drastically changed over the course of the last 20 years.
“Kitchens have become living spaces as we continue to spend more time in these areas, for more than just cooking. Most contemporary homes now adopt an open-plan floor design, creating a central hub for every member of the family to come together in a communal space.”
